On Friday June 12, 2026 at approximately 10:29 am, Palmer Township Police were dispatched to a residence on the 1000 block of S. 25th Street for a male threatening to shoot another male. Upon arrival, the male actor fled the scene in a maroon Hyundai sedan with a Pennsylvania registration. Further investigation confirmed the male suspect was identified as Stephen Coppo, who threatened to shoot the male victim with his 38 in the back of the head and blow his brains out, if he didn't get his money owed to him. The investigating Officer obtained an arrest warrant for Stephen Coppo and with assistance from the Nazareth Police Department, Officers were able to locate him at a residence in Nazareth, taking him into custody without incident. Stephen Coppo was transported to the Palmer Township Police Department for processing. He was later arraigned by Magisterial District Justice Knisley and committed to the Northampton County Prison on $25,000.00 bail.
