On February 13, 2026, the Nazareth Borough Police Department, in conjunction with the Northampton County Drug Task Force, conducted a narcotics investigation within Nazareth Borough targeting the distribution of illegal controlled substances within the community.
As a result of the investigation, a male identified as William Scorza of Northampton was taken into custody and charged with delivery of a controlled substance and related offenses. During the course of the investigation, Scorza delivered and possessed approximately five (5) grams of Fentanyl..
Scorza was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Robert Hawke, who set bail at $100,000 cash.. Scorza was subsequently committed to Northampton County Prison.
The Northampton County Drug Task Force involved in this investigation was comprised of officers and detectives from the Colonial Regional Police Department, Northampton County Detectives, Northampton Borough Police Department, Wilson Borough Police Department, and Bethlehem Township Police Department.
The Nazareth Borough Police Department remains committed to proactive drug enforcement efforts aimed at disrupting the illegal drug trade and protecting the safety and well-being of the residents and visitors of Nazareth Borough.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
