On August 8, 2026, at 3:17 PM, Nazareth Police responded to a call at 64 South Broad Street regarding terroristic threats. A male allegedly pulled a knife on another customer before leaving the premises. Officers located the individual on Progress Street in the Borough. Upon investigation, it was determined that the male was intoxicated and disoriented. The incident reportedly stemmed from a previous altercation in the building, which the male attempted to discuss with the other patron, who refused to engage. The male was subsequently taken into custody and transported to the Nazareth Police Station, processed, and transported to Northampton County Prison after all the appropriate paperwork was completed.
