On September 3,2026, at 9:48 PM, Nazareth Police were on patrol when they observed a traffic violation on a vehicle in the area Belvidere Street and South Main Street and a vehicle stop was conducted.  Officers gathered the driver's information, and it was found that the driver had and active warrant out of the Northampton County Sheriff's Department.   The warrant was confirmed with the Northampton County Sheriff's Department, and the driver was taken into custody, during search of the driver, a small circular plastic container was found in the driver's possession containing a white substance.  The vehicle was impounded and a search warrant was issued after a Police K9 hit on the vehicle during a walk around.  The driver was taken to the Northampton County Prison for the warrant.
