On July 5, 2026, at 8:17 PM, Nazareth Police responded to a domestic disturbance call in the 100 block of North New Street. Upon arrival, officers observed a female with visible injuries to her hand. An ambulance was dispatched to provide medical attention to the female. The male involved in the incident was located and cooperated with police after stepping outside of the homer.  After conducting an investigation, the male offender was taken into custody for admitting to slapping and choking the female. The offender was transported to the Nazareth Police station for processing and subsequently taken to Northampton County Prison. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
