On February 28, 2026, at approximately 8:16 am, Nazareth Police responded to a call regarding loose dogs in the 200 block of South New Street. While handling the situation, a woman arrived on the scene, claiming ownership of the dogs. During the interaction, officers discovered that the woman had an outstanding arrest warrant issued by the Northampton County Sheriff's Department. She was subsequently taken into custody and the dogs were returned to their residence. The individual was then transported to the Northampton County Prison.
