On October 21, 2026, we are taking part in Operation Safe Stop, a campaign aimed at educating drivers about the dangers and illegality of passing stopped school buses when children are getting on or off.

This joint effort between law enforcement, school transportation providers, pupil transportation associations, and PennDOT seeks to raise awareness about the risks of such traffic violations and reduce their occurrence.

We encourage the public to remain vigilant, not just on October 21, but every day, and to exercise caution in school zones by watching out for school buses, obeying flashing red lights and stop arms, and slowing down.
