On July 21, 2026, the Lower Saucon Township Police Department charged a 67-year-old male, John Vernon Ross Jr, with Unsworn Falsification to Authorities.

The charges stem from an incident in which Mr. Ross Jr attempted to purchase a firearm despite being prohibited from doing so. The Pennsylvania State Police – PICS Challenge Section provided the information that led to the charges.

The charges were filed at District Court 03-2-04. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
