On March 12, 2026, at approximately 1:01 p.m., the Lower Saucon Township Police Department received a report of a theft on the 2500 block of Redington Rd. An unknown individual stole a pile of aluminum gutters and downspouts from a residence in the 2500blk of Redington Road.
Surveillance cameras in the area captured footage of a vehicle stopping at the residence, with a male exiting and loading aluminum into the vehicle. The vehicle then left, traveling west on Redington Rd. towards Riverside Drive. A short time later, the same vehicle returned to the residence, and the male loaded more aluminum into the vehicle before leaving, traveling east on Redington Rd.
Through investigation, the male was identified as Collin Nelson a 23-year-old from Easton. On March 20, 2026, police interviewed the Mr. Nelson, who subsequently admitted to taking the aluminum and selling it at two different recycling locations.
Charges of Theft by Unlawful Taking and Receiving Stolen Property have been filed against Mr. Nelsonl at District Court 03-2-04. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
