On August 7, 2026, at approximately 7:04 am, officers responded to the unit block of Canterbury Court for a reported burglary incident. The complainant reported a male had slapped a female and fled the area on a bicycle. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the complainant and a victim. It was reported that the male, identified as Joshua Braggs, opened an unsecured bedroom window at the residence and reached inside, striking the victim in the face while laying in bed. Braggs was known to the victim. Officers observed visible injuries to the victim and an arrest warrant was issued against Braggs for the charges listed.
