On July 4, 2026, at approximately 6:57 pm, officers responded to the 300 block of De Maria Drive for a reported motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle had struck a parked vehicle, rendering both vehicles inoperable. An officer made contact with the driver, identified as Angela Volpe, who confirmed she was driving the vehicle that had struck the parked vehicle. While speaking with Volpe, the officer detected an odor of alcoholic beverage emanating from her breath, and observed she had glossy eyes and was unsteady on her feet. Volpe admitted to consuming alcohol before driving. Volpe agreed to participate in Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and, as a result of the tests, she was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. Volpe was transported to a DUI Center for a legal blood draw. The results of the blood draw indicated her BAC was 0.187%. Volpe was charged by criminal complaints with the listed offenses.
