On June 29, 2026, at approximately 11:07 am, officers responded to the area of Sullivan Trail and Meco Road for a motor vehicle collision. Upon arrival, officers observed two vehicles involved, including a vehicle driven by a female identified as Rachel Roye. While officers spoke with Roye about the collision, an officer detected a strong odor of alcoholic substance emanating from her breath. Roye was requested to participate in Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and, as a result of the tests, was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. Roye was transported to a DUI Center and submitted to a legal blood draw. The results of the blood draw indicated Roye's BAC was .180%. Roye was charged by criminal complaint with the listed offenses.
