On March 9, 2026, at approximately 6:51 pm, officers responded to the area of 500 Zucksville Road, Forks Township Community Park, for a report of several juveniles riding electric dirt bikes while wearing ski masks and driving recklessly. Officers spent several minutes attempting to locate and stop the juveniles. Palmer Township Police and Palmer Township Fire Department's Drone Unit assisted in locating one of the juveniles at his residence. The juvenile was charged by non-traffic citation with a local ordinance violation and issued five additional traffic citations. 

Parents are reminded to ensure your child's use of an electric vehicle, including e-bikes and electric scooters, complies with state laws and township ordinances. Electric scooters of any kind are strictly prohibited from public roadways and township property. Electric scooters may only be operated on private property.
