On May 29, 2026, at approximately 11:06 pm, police responded to a reported burglary in progress in the 2500 block of Gillian Lane. County Dispatch advised officers that a male suspect had attempted to kick in a resident's front door. While en route to the scene, additional callers reported the same suspect in the area. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the suspect, later identified as Uday Joshi, and detained him in handcuffs. As a result of the incident, he was charged by non-traffic citations with (1 count) Disorderly Conduct (S) and (1 count) Public Drunkenness (S).
