On May 25, 2025, at approximately 10:25 pm, a Forks Township police officer conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle in the 3600 block of Glover Road. The driver was identified as Michael Johnson and the officer observed that Johnson appeared nervous and was visibly shaking. The officer knew Johnson had a prior history with controlled substances and Johnson admitted to using methamphetamine two weeks prior. A consensual search of the vehicle was conducted and a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue was located inside the vehicle. A second glass pipe with residue was also located in Johnson's front pocket. As a result, Johnson was charged by criminal complaint with (2 counts) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M).
