On June 9, 2026, at approximately 7:24 pm, officers responded to the Giant parking lot, located at 301 Town Center Boulevard, for a welfare check. The complainant reported a female who was slumped over the steering wheel in her vehicle. Upon arrival, officers observed the vehicle, occupied by a female in the driver's seat with her head against the steering wheel and the vehicle's engine running. Officers made contact with the female, who was identified as Brittany Davis. While speaking with Davis, officers detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage and slurred speech. Davis admitted to consuming alcohol in the vehicle for several hours while parked in the lot. 

Davis was transported to a hospital by EMS and a legal blood draw was completed. The results of the blood draw indicated Davis' BAC was .285%. As a result, Davis was charged by criminal complaint with related offenses.
