The Easton Police Department would like to remind residents to please lock their vehicles and do not leave valuables in plain sight.  Theft from vehicles is a crime that is easily prevented, and the Easton Police Department is asking for your help in keeping your belongings safe.

• TAKE OUT VALUABLES: This includes things like laptops, cell phones, GPS devices, wallets, purses, car keys, and firearms.
• LOCK YOUR VEHICLE: Make sure it's locked! Check the batteries in your remotes/fobs.  A low battery can cause it to malfunction.
• CLOSE YOUR WINDOWS & SUN/MOON ROOF: Windows and sun/moon roofs allow thieves a quick and quiet way to enter your vehicle.
