Curfew for Minors Under Age 18

Bangor Borough has temporarily changed the curfew for minors under the age of 18 to 10 pm. It shall be unlawful for any minor to remain idle, wander, stroll or play in any public place on foot or to drive or cruise without a set destination in any vehicle in, about or upon any public place in the Borough between the hours of 10 pm and 5 am unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Any person found in violation of this curfew shall, upon conviction in a summary proceeding before a District Magistrate, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $50.00 and not more than $1,000.00 and costs of prosecution and, in default of payment of such fine and costs, to incarceration in the County prison for not more than 30 days.
