The Borough of Bangor and the Bangor Police Department are pleased to announce that, during the Borough Council Meeting on July 13, 2026, three full-time police officers were officially sworn in.

Officers Hess and Pinsker, who previously served the department as part-time officers, successfully completed the Civil Service testing process and have now begun their full-time careers with the Bangor Police Department.

Officer Jorge Yepez joins the department as a new full-time officer after recently graduating from the Allentown Police Academy.
