Incident Summary

On March 16, 2026, at approximately 11:25 hours, the Bangor Police Department responded to a report of a stabbing incident in the 500 block of S.1st Street.

Upon arrival, officers located the victim, who sustained stab wounds to his left bicep and right hand.

As a result of the investigation, a 29-year-old male, Joshua Jones, was taken into custody in connection with the stabbing.

All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
