On Thursday, August 27, 2026, officers were conducting traffic enforcement in the 100 block of Rupert Drive when they observed an individual known to have an active felony warrant. Officers also observed several traffic violations. 

A traffic stop was conducted by Officer Jordan, and the driver was taken into custody on the outstanding warrants. Additionally, the driver was believed to be under the influence of a controlled substance and was transported for a blood test.

The individual was subsequently transferred to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office. Further charges are pending.
