On July 6, 2026, at about 4:38pm, Officer Hernandez was conducting traffic enforcement when a vehicle passed his stationary position at the Catawissa Boat Club entrance. A license plate check revealed outstanding warrants. Officer Hernandez followed the vehicle into Catawissa, where he was able to identify the driver as the wanted person. 

Officer Hernandez confirmed the warrant, in relation to a drug DUI, and took the driver into custody. The male was lodged at the Columbia County Prison.
