The Montour Township Police Department recently participated in two career fairs, one hosted at Memorial Elementary School and the other at W.W. Evans Elementary School. The events provided an excellent opportunity for our officers to engage with the local community, particularly the younger generation, and share information about the rewarding career of law enforcement.
Officer Hernandez, Officer Jordan, and Chief Savidge represented the Montour Township Police Department at the career fairs. They handed out stickers, bracelets, and answered questions from the curious students. The officers were thrilled to see the enthusiasm and interest of the young attendees, who were eager to learn more about the role of police officers in their community.
The Montour Township Police Department would like to extend its gratitude to the school district for planning and hosting these events. The career fairs provided a valuable platform for our officers to connect with the community and inspire the next generation of law enforcement professionals.
We appreciate the opportunity to participate in such events and look forward to continuing our partnership with the school district to promote safety, education, and community engagement.
