An air quality alert of Code Red Ozone Action Day has been issued for Thursday, July 16th. 
 

The Code Red warning means the air is unsafe and unhealthy. This level of air pollution poses a threat for everyone, including “sensitive groups” of people — children, older adults and people heart or lung diseases, asthma and other preexisting respiratory conditions. 
 

Green signifies good air quality; Yellow means moderate air quality; Orange represents unhealthy pollution levels for sensitive groups of people; and Red warns of unhealthy pollution levels for all.
