This afternoon at 1:40pm, Upper Moreland officers responded to the 3500 block of Bartram Road for a 9-1-1 call for multiple gunshot victims. The report was found to be false. There were no injuries or threat to the public. 

This "swatting" incident is believed to be related to a rash of similar 9-1-1 calls spanning several townships and schools in the area in recent weeks. "Swatting" is when a false report is called into 9-1-1 to elicit a large, often armed, police response. This investigation is ongoing.
