Yesterday, members of the Upper Merion Township Police Department paid tribute to the memory of Officer Michael Saulin by placing a holiday wreath at his gravesite. The wreath was generously provided by the Fallen Heroes Wreath Program, an organization founded in 2014 that remembers all area fallen officers.
Officer Saulin tragically lost his life on March 4, 1975, in a one-vehicle accident while responding to an emergency call. His sacrifice will never be forgotten, and we are grateful for the opportunity to honor his memory during this holiday season.
Later that evening, our officers attended the 27th Annual Project Blue Light ceremony hosted by the Horsham Township Police Department. This poignant event honors the brave officers in Montgomery County who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to the members of our community for their continued support. We wish everyone a joyous and safe holiday season.
