Members of the Upper Merion Police Department took part in the 2026 Polar Plunge, supporting the Pennsylvania Special Olympics. This morning, the team jumped into freezing cold water outside of Citizens Bank Park, demonstrating their commitment to this worthy cause.

The Upper Merion Police Association also showed its support by making a generous donation to the Special Olympics athletes of Pennsylvania. This annual event is a highlight for the police officers, who look forward to participating and making a difference in their community.

The Polar Plunge is a fun and unique way to raise funds and awareness for the Special Olympics, and the Upper Merion Police Department is proud to be a part of it. By taking the plunge, the department is helping to make a positive impact on the lives of Special Olympics athletes across the state.
