Fatal Shooting of Pennsylvania State Trooper

The Upper Merion Township Police Department is deeply saddened to learn of the tragic loss of Pennsylvania State Police Corporal Tim O'Connor, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Corporal O'Connor's family, friends, and fellow Troopers during this difficult time. We mourn the loss of a dedicated public servant who selflessly put the safety of others before his own.

Corporal O'Connor's bravery and commitment to serving and protecting the citizens of Pennsylvania will never be forgotten. His sacrifice is a poignant reminder of the risks that law enforcement officers take every day to keep our communities safe.

We stand in solidarity with the Pennsylvania State Police and the entire law enforcement community as we grieve the loss of this courageous officer. May Corporal O'Connor's memory be a beacon of inspiration to us all, and may his family find comfort in the knowledge that his sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Rest in peace, Corporal O'Connor. Your service and sacrifice will always be remembered.
