Royersford Borough has declared a Snow Emergency that will go into effect at 6:00PM Saturday the 24th and remain in effect until cancelled.
As such there will be no parking on snow emergency marked roads including:
Vehicles parked on the above streets will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense beginning at 6pm.
Sidewalks must be cleared within 24 hours after cessation of snow. Clear a path of at least 30 inches wide. It is illegal to plow, blow or throw snow from the sidewalk onto the street.
If you have a fire hydrant near your house, please clear it. In the unfortunate event there is a fire, precious minutes are lost searching for and digging fire hydrants. It only takes a few minutes and will be a tremendous help to us if we need it. The Royersford Fire Department recommends a 3 feet radius while clearing to the street.
Additionally, if you have any vents exiting your house (heater, dryer, etc) make sure they remain clear of any snow, otherwise carbon monoxide may build up in your residence. Do not run generators or vehicles in your garage.
