PRESS RELEASE
The Plymouth Township Police Department announces the arrests of multiple offenders breaking into the property of Cleveland Cliffs Steel, 900 Conshohocken Road, Plymouth Township. Offenders are gaining access to the property by cutting locks on gates and cutting exterior perimeter fences to steal metal for scrapping purposes. The following individuals have been arrested:
March 19, 2026 - Michael Anthony Kropilak (Philadelphia, PA) - Charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and related offenses
February 27, 2026 - Robert Bruce Hoffman (Collegeville, PA) - Charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and related offenses
February 12, 2026 - Douglass John McCann (Norristown, PA) - Charged with criminal trespass, theft, and related offenses
February 11, 2026 - Daniel Dutton (Mays Landing, NJ) - Charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and related offenses
February 11, 2026 - Jason Lombardi (Palmyra, NJ) - Charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and related offenses
February 11, 2026 - Philip Sulima (Harleysville, PA) - Charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and related offenses
January 20, 2026 - Alberto Boscana (Philadelphia, PA) - Charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and related offenses
January 20, 2026 - Brian Mainart (Jeffersonville, PA) - ACTIVE ARREST WARRANT - Charged with burglary, criminal trespass, theft, and related offenses
January 11, 2026 - Kevin O'Brien (Plymouth Meeting, PA) - Charged with Defiant Trespass
The Criminal Investigations Division continues to pursue active investigative leads on additional suspects who have engaged in burglary, criminal trespass, and theft activity on the steel plant property. The property of Cleveland Cliffs Steel is not public property and is secured by locked perimeter fencing and on-duty security staff. Anyone who is not authorized to be inside the fenced-in perimeter will be prosecuted.
Anyone with information on other people committing criminal acts on the Cleveland Cliffs Steel Plant property is encouraged to call the Plymouth Township Police Department at 610-279-1901. Tips can be emailed to tips@plymouthtownship.org.
Criminal charges and any discussion thereof are merely allegations, and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty
