Lower Moreland PD officers participated in the annual Reading Across America Week!
Reading Across America Week is a celebration of Dr. Seuss's birthday and is observed annually during the first week of March. It is a nationwide effort to encourage children to develop a love for reading and to promote literacy.
Our officers visited Lower Moreland Schools and read to students, sharing stories and answering many questions about police uniforms, patrol cars, etc. This event is an excellent opportunity for our officers to engage with our students, build relationships, and make a positive impact on the lives of young people.
We had so much fun and always look forward to reading to our youth!
