This week, we recognize National Police Week, observed May 10–16, 2026. This annual observance honors the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, while also recognizing those who continue to serve and protect our communities each day.
National Police Week provides an opportunity to reflect on the vital role law enforcement officers play in maintaining public safety and supporting our communities. It is also a time to acknowledge the dedication, courage, and challenges they face in their service.
On Friday, May 15th, from 6:00–8:00 PM, we will host a special event to honor the law enforcement officers who gave their lives in the line of duty and to express our appreciation for the dedicated officers who continue to serve our community with professionalism and commitment.
We invite the community to join us for an evening of remembrance, gratitude, and recognition as we come together to honor the bravery and selflessness of our law enforcement heroes.
The Lower Moreland Township Police Department is proud to serve our community and remains committed to providing professional, courteous, and compassionate service to all. We are honored to participate in this national observance and look forward to continuing our work together to build a safer and stronger community.
Thank you to all of our law enforcement heroes for your service and sacrifice!
