Simple Tips to Prevent Theft:

PARK in well-lit areas.

STOW away or take valuables with you. Do not keep money, change, or bags in sight.

LOCK car doors.

DO NOT leave keys in car.

NEVER leave your vehicle while it's running.

 ADD outdoor lighting to your residence and leave it on at night.

Car thieves have been magnifying key fob signals allowing the keys to unlock and start a vehicle. Thieves will come close to your door to get the signal from your key just on the other side of the wall. This is mostly done for vehicles with a "push to start" feature. To prevent this from happening you may consider purchasing a "faraday" bag, which blocks all signals.
