The Lower Moreland Police Department maintains a Camera Registry to enhance public safety and aid in criminal investigations. This voluntary program allows residents and business owners to register their private security cameras with the police department.
By registering your camera, you can help us solve crimes and keep our community safer. If a crime occurs in your area, police officers may contact you to request footage from your camera. This footage can be invaluable in identifying suspects and solving cases.
Registration is simple and only takes a few minutes. You can register your camera online by providing basic information such as your name, address, and camera location. You will also be asked to provide a contact method in case police need to reach out to you. This is completely voluntary and this does NOT give any kind of access into your system. We will simply know where to ask for recordings if available.
Participating in the Camera Registry Program is a great way to contribute to the safety of our community. If you have a private security camera, we encourage you to register it today.
