FRAUD ARREST

The Hatboro Police Department is alerting the public to a recent fraud incident involving bad checks. On Friday, July 24th, 2026, our department received information about an individual who had issued numerous bad checks.

After conducting a thorough investigation, including interviews and serving search warrants, our detectives identified the individual responsible as Jessica Babb. It was discovered that she had passed 4 bad checks, totaling $850,225.00.

An arrest warrant was secured, and Babb turned herself in on September 28th, 2026. She was released on $100,000.00 unsecured bail, and a preliminary hearing is pending.
