On Sunday, October 4th, 2026, Hatboro Police Officers were dispatched to Hatters Court in the Woodwinds Condo Complex for the report of a domestic disturbance in progress. While officers were responding, they received information that there were approximately 7 individuals engaged in a fist fight outside in the parking lot. 

Officers arrived on scene shortly after being dispatched to find that there was not a large scale fight occurring. During their time there, Emily Abbruzzi was found to be in violation of statutes regarding Disorderly Conduct as well as Public Drunkeness. Officers attempted to take her into custody when she purposefully kicked on officer in the leg. She was able to be secured in handcuffs and as she was being placed in the back of the patrol vehicle, she attempted to kick the same officer in the chest. As she was being seat belted into the patrol vehicle, she attempted for a third time to kick the same officer, this time in the face.

Abbruzzi was arrested and charged with the above listed charges. She was arraigned on 10/5/2026 where bail was set at $1,000. A preliminary hearing is pending.
