On July 26, 2023 at approximately 1115 hours, the Ambler Borough Police Department received a theft report. The victim reported theft of two scooters that happened sometime overnight. Officers were able to locate the two stolen scooters a short distance away. Throughout the investigation, we were able to process the scene and items found, conduct interviews and gather video evidence. As a result of the investigation, Arik Garth was arrested for this incident on August 27, 2023. He was charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Theft of Movable Property, and Loitering and Prowling at Night Time. Garth was arraigned and given unsecured bail. His preliminary hearing has been set for September 8, 2023 at 9am at District Court 38-1-10.
