On October 29, 2025, at approximately 1951 hours, a Pocono Township Police Department Officer was working an Aggressive Driving enforcement detail in the area of SR0611 in Swiftwater. The Officer performed a traffic stop on a vehicle which had several equipment violations. Upon contact with the operator of the vehicle, Ivy L. Walker a 49-year-old female from Tobyhanna, evidence of impairment were observed and a search of the vehicle yielded a controlled substance. Walker was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of controlled substances. At the time of the stop, two juveniles were occupants in the vehicle. Toxicology results indicated that Walker was under the influence of marijuana and cocaine at the time of the stop. Charges have been filed.
