On August 31st, 2023, at approximately 4:05 P.M., the Pocono Township Police Department received a report of a theft of several pieces of jewelry from a victim's home. The subsequent investigation found that the jewelry in question was sold to a gold buyer in the area. That business was able to produce the identification of the seller, Tia Myers a 35-year-old female from Plains, PA. Myers was subsequently charged with theft and receiving stolen property, and a warrant has been issued for her arrest.

The Pocono Township Police Department is requesting any information on the whereabouts of the defendant.
