On December 07, 2024, at 2000 hours, Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to Great Wolf Lodge for a report of a fight. Upon arrival, Officers observed 33-year-old Matthew Gaddy of New York, New York to be in the lobby. Throughout further investigation, it was found that Gaddy had a physical altercation with the family before the police arrived. Officers attempted to make contact with Gaddy when a physical altercation ensued. Gaddy was found to have a large amount of Crack Cocaine. Gaddy was arrested and taken to the Monroe County Correctional Facility.
