Today, The Pocono Township Police Department mourns the loss of a brave and selfless hero, Pennsylvania State Trooper Timothy O'connor JR, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. We extend our deepest condolences to the trooper's family, friends, and fellow law enforcement officers.

Two of our officers had the privilege of attending the funeral service today, where they joined many others to pay their respects to this fallen hero. We are proud to stand in solidarity with our law enforcement brothers and sisters during this difficult time.

Trooper O'connor will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to serving and protecting the citizens of Pennsylvania. His bravery, dedication, and sacrifice will never be forgotten. We honor his memory and vow to continue his legacy of service and protection.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the trooper's loved ones and the entire Pennsylvania State Police family during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the knowledge that their hero will never be forgotten.
