On March 19, 2026, Officers from the Pocono Township Police Department responded to Pocono Mountain Harley Davidson, 110 Hill Motor Lodge Rd , for a report of a motorcycle theft. Officers viewed the stores video surveillance and observed that the theft occurred at 1320 hours earlier that day. Surveillance showed that a vehicle entered the parking lot and a black male exited the drivers door of the vehicle, got on a motorcycle that was there for service, and drove out of the parking lot with the vehicle trailing.
During the investigation, officers found that there were several similar thefts in multiple states on the east coast. Through a joint investigation into the various thefts, Tyree Sharod Robinson, the defendant in this matter, from New Haven, CT, was identified as a suspect. Officers found that the vehicle used in the Pocono Mountain Harley Davidson theft was registered to Robinson and that Robinson matched the description of the male perpetrator. Officers investigated Robinson further and found that he was in Pocono Township, specifically at Pocono Mountain Harley Davidson, on the date and time of the theft.
On September 15, 2026, an arrest warrant was issued for Robinson for felony theft by unlawful taking, conspiracy to commit theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and on September 17, 2026 he was arrested by the New Haven Police Department in CT. Robinson was placed in New Haven Correctional Facility with $500,000 bail and is awaiting transport to PA to be arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Daniel Kresge.
