On September 4, 2026, at approximately 2002 hours, the Pocono Township Police Department was advised to be on the lookout for a dark colored Dodge Ram dually that was involved in a hit and run accident on State Route 33. An Officer located the vehicle, which was bearing an expired registration. The Officer performed a traffic stop in the parking lot of Turkey Hill in Tannersville and observed fresh damage consistent with an accident. Contact was made with the Operator of the vehicle and Defendant in this matter, Jeremy J. Robertson a 49-year-old male from Mt. Pocono. Upon further investigation it was discovered that Robertson was involved in a road rage incident on Route 33 in which he sideswiped another vehicle at a high rate of speed and then proceeded to get in front of the vehicle and "brake-check" them causing them to run into the back of him. The incident was observed by an independent witness who observed Robertson's reckless driving. Robertson was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol. Upon receipt of blood toxicology results, it was discovered that Robertson's BAC was .150% at the time of draw on September 4, 2026. Charges have been filed.
