On March 7, 2026 at approximately 0244 hours, the Pocono Township Police Department was dispatched to a room at The Chateau Resort at Camelback for a report of a domestic dispute between sisters. Upon arrival contact was made with the victim in this matter who advised that her sister, identified as Shamika C. Rease a 37-year-old female from Millville, NJ., took her phone and refused to give it back. When the victim approached her, a physical altercation ensued, leading to Rease forcibly choking the victim and restricting her breathing. When Officers went to take Rease into custody, she actively resisted. Officers took Rease into custody and she was transported to Monroe County Correctional Facility to be processed and to await arraignment.
