On Monday, January 19th, 2026 at approximately 2012 hours, Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to a residence on SR0715 in Henryville, PA for a report of a domestic between a step father and step son. Upon arrival, officers made contact with multiple individuals outside the residence. The victim and a witness explained that the step father, Dylan Penny, a 33-year-old male, tried to take the step sons phone away from him. When the step son refused a physical altercation took place. Through investigation officers found visible injuries to the victims face. Dylan was charged with simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child due to the victim being a juvenile. Dylan was transported to Monroe County Correctional Facility where he will await arraignment.
