On December 19, 2025, at approximately 1437 hours, Officers with the Pocono Township Police Department responded to the Great Wolf Lodge Waterpark for a report of a domestic dispute. Prior to arrival, Officers were advised that an involved female party was assaulting Great Wolf Lodge employees. Officers made contact with the female, identified as Yohanny Nunez a 28-year-old female from Mt. Vernon, NY., inside of the waterpark. Nunez was uncooperative, manifestly under the influence of alcohol and disorderly in the waterpark. She was taken into custody. Further investigation found that she struck three Great Wolf Lodge employees with a metal water bottle and also punched them while they attempted to defuse the situation. While in police custody, Nunez then spit on a Pocono Township Police Officer. Nunez was transported to Monroe County Correctional Facility where she was later arraigned on her charges.
