On March 8, 2024, at approximately 2241 hours, an Officer of the Pocono Township Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on SR0611 in the area of Rimrock Drive. Upon stopping the vehicle, the officer made contact with three occupants, one being Amber Moyer, a 32-year-old from Cleona, Pennsylvania. The Officer observed clues and behavior indicative of the use and possession of controlled substances, and observed paraphernalia of controlled substances inside of the vehicle. The vehicle was towed back to Police Headquarters where a search warrant was applied for and executed. Upon searching the vehicle, Officers located heroin, methamphetamine, related paraphernalia and brass knuckles. Criminal charges have been filed on Moyer and the other occupants.
