On Monday, February 16th, 2026 at approximately 2019 hours, Officers from Pocono Township Police Department were dispatched to Camelback Lodge for a possible domestic. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim, who had visible injuries to her face. Officers found out that the male, Douglas Montgomery, 41-year-old, from NY assaulted the victim and left the resort in their vehicle while intoxicated. Officers located Douglas in the parking lot of Barley Creek where he was taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility on simple assault, DUI and other related charges.
