On August 20, 2026, at around 10:30 PM, the Pocono Township Police Department received a call regarding a disorderly individual at 1022 Cherry Lane Road. Upon arrival, officers spoke with staff from Pocono Mountain Recovery Center, who reported that a 32-year-old male, Casey Jones from Mount Joy, was causing a disturbance by throwing objects and acting erratically. The staff requested his removal from the program. Police supervised as Jones gathered his belongings and left the premises, at which point he was formally trespassed from the property. However, at approximately 11:53 PM, police were called back to the scene and found Jones had re-entered the business despite being trespassed, and was making threats towards the staff. As a result, Jones was taken into custody for trespassing and disorderly conduct. All persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
