On June 6, 2025, at 12:41 AM, Pocono Township Police Department officers responded to a disturbance call at a Black Oak Dr. residence, where a male individual was reportedly yelling and screaming in the front yard. Upon arrival, they encountered 29-year-old Zachary Johnson of Tannersville, who stood in the middle of the road, shouting at the officers. As they approached, Johnson fled to a nearby property, continuing to shout, despite being given lawful orders to stop. He actively resisted arrest, but the officers eventually apprehended him and took him to Monroe County Correctional Facility. It is important to note that all persons are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
